Ukrainian Music workshop with Alisa Vasilisa
The Ballincollig Winter Music Festival 2025 is proud to present a Ukrainian music workshop with celebrated mulit instrumentalist Alisa Vasilisa.
Alisa is a musican and music therapist born and raised in Kharkiv, in Eastern Ukraine. She has received a classical music education and spent over a decade travelling to more than 35 countries exploring cultures, music and instruments.
Her focus is on the traditional music of Ukraine, the middle East and India.
Over the years, she has mastered several instruments including the mandolin, guitar, Irish bouzouki, Turkish baglama, Persian tar, Indian Sitar, Bansuri flute and Celtic Harp.
