The White Horse Guitar Club (Low Tickets)

The White Horse Guitar Club has announced a home residency at The White Horse in Ballincollig, opening the doors to the room where the band was formed and inviting people from near and far to share in the experience.

This residency acknowledges the many people who have come to see the White Horse Guitar Club play at its home base over the years, and those who have written after missing out on tickets as shows sold out quickly. Creating a run of dates in the band’s home room allows for more space, more opportunity, and proper runway for people to organise and be part of it.

The residency is an open invitation. To those who have seen the band before and those only discovering them now. To the growing Guitar Club chapters emerging across Ireland and around the world. And to listeners further afield who have been asking when they might plan a trip to Cork to experience the White Horse Guitar Club in its spiritual home.

Guests are invited to step through the doors of The White Horse, climb the stairs above the pub, and enter the space where the Guitar Club first took shape. It is here that the band plays, practises, talks, has pints, and now welcomes audiences for a run of intimate shows rooted in place, friendship, and community.

The invitation extends in every direction. North, South, East and West. To locals, visitors, travellers, and friends yet to be met. To those who know the songs well and those hearing them for the first time. This residency is about gathering people into that room, and sharing what has grown there over time.

Each night of the residency is designed as an immersive experience. Time spent together in the venue above the pub, the fire lit bar where songs, stories, and conversations continue long after the last note is played. Over the course of the residency, very special moments will be added into these nights, with details shared as they unfold.

At least one of the residency shows will be broadcast globally, opening the room to listeners around the world and allowing the White Horse Guitar Club to reach outward while remaining firmly rooted in Ballincollig.

This residency marks both a return home and a step forward. A gathering rather than a gig. A chance for something to grow, as great residencies often do, into a life of its own.
