The 16th Ballincollig Winter Music Festival proudly presents Chris Kent & friends.

Chris Kent

Fresh from his Offline Ireland & UK tour, that saw Chris play to packed audiences over 100 dates, including a memorable home triumph at a sold-out 5,000+ Live at The Marquee show, Chris gathers some dear friends in comedy to celebrate with a Ballincollig Winter Music Festival debut show.

“Chris is effortlessly hilarious, an incredible storyteller and one of my favourite comedians working anywhere today” — James Acaster
“He really makes me laugh and I think his stuff is so smart, he would be one of the best comics that I would have seen. He’s fantastic” — Tommy Tiernan
“Beautifully laid-back style, where the punchlines come at you out of the blue” — Foil, Arms and Hog.

Paul Crowley

Corkman Paul Crowley has built a reputation as one of the best joke writers on the circuit. With his laconic style and easy-going manner, this natural storyteller’s hilarious experiences of trying to navigate life as a modern dad in an absurd world are not to be missed. A regular at all the top clubs across the country and resident MC at City Limits Cork. “Perfectly pitched observations on modern life” — Colm O Regan. “Master of observational comedy” — Irish Independent.

Aaron McCarthy

Aaron McCarthy is an up-and-coming comedian from the vibrant city of Cork, Ireland. Known for his charming on-stage presence, he has been winning over audiences all across the country, seamlessly weaving stories and jokes together to create a fluid and dynamic show that is never the same twice.

Dave Savage

Dave Savage is a Cork-based comedian whose witty and energetic take on Irish culture and society provides a great night’s entertainment for all. Also known for his many impressions, he incorporates characters including Donald Trump, Micheál Martin, and Michael D Higgins.

Sinéad Quinlan

Sinéad Quinlan is a comedy star from Cork. She made the completely rational decision to enter a stand-up comedy competition while eating taco fries in Hillbillies, having only ever done stand-up twice. She went on to win ‘Stand Up and Be Funny’ on RTÉ One with only seven gigs under her belt. What was in those taco fries?
Sinéad has performed in comedy clubs and festivals all over Ireland and is the regular warm-up act for ‘Angela Scanlon’s Ask Me Anything’ and ‘The Late Late Show’, as well as appearing across a range of Irish TV shows.

Kevin Larney

Kevin Larney is a Dundalk-born comic who has become a regular figure on the Irish comedy scene, gigging all over the country, taking part in festivals, and providing tour support for some of the top Irish acts. He is also co-host of Shite Talk: An Irish History Podcast on the Headstuff network, and every club in Dublin’s fourth-favourite MC.
“A natural” — Mark Normand
“I can’t understand a word he’s saying, but the crowd seem to like it” — Sam Tallent
