I Draw Slow
I Draw Slow brings their mesmerising Celtic-Appalachian sound for a much anticipated return visit to The White Horse.
I Draw Slow is an Irish five-piece band known for blending Americana, bluegrass, and folk with a distinctly Celtic twist. Formed by siblings Dave and Louise Holden in Dublin, the group has garnered international acclaim for its rich harmonies, literary songwriting, and dynamic live performances. Their music combines storytelling rooted in Irish tradition with the rhythmic drive and instrumentation of American roots music, featuring fiddle, banjo, guitar, and double bass.
Since their debut in 2008, I Draw Slow has released several critically acclaimed albums, including Redhills, White Wave Chapel, and Turn Your Face to the Sun. They’ve built a loyal following both in Europe and the U.S., where they’ve toured extensively and performed at major festivals like MerleFest and the Americana Music Festival. Signed to Compass Records, I Draw Slow continues to evolve their sound while staying true to the poetic and melodic core that defines their identity.
