Joe Carey – Mentor

Joe Carey is the owner of The White Horse, one of Cork’s most respected live music venues, and the music booker behind its programme of events. A musician himself and a member of Whitehorse Guitar Club and Jodavino, Joe brings deep roots in the local music scene alongside a wide network built over many years of promoting and supporting live music.

He is also the Co-Director of the Ballincollig Winter Arts Festival, a beloved community event now in its 16th year, making him one of the most experienced arts organisers in the region.

Joe will provide artistic mentorship throughout the residency, drawing on his experience as a performer, venue owner, music booker, and festival director to support the selected artist at every stage.
