The Niall Vallely Trio – Niall Vallely, Liz Knowles & Niwel Tsumbu While Vallely, Knowles & Tsumbu come from very different backgrounds geographically they find common ground in the joy of listening and responding creatively to each other’s sounds and ideas. Their music has elements of traditional music from Ireland and the Congo as well as recently composed music, and the result is about three personalities finding ways to speak to each other musically, communicating with a sense of openness and curiosity.
